Chief Minister Omar Abdullah participated in the 32nd Northern Zonal Council meeting held in Haryana, chaired by the Hon’ble Union Home Minister. During the session, the Chief Minister showcased several major initiatives taken by the Jammu & Kashmir government.
He highlighted the launch of Mission YUVA, renewed emphasis on quality education, the expansion of sports infrastructure, and ongoing efforts to build a robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Union Territory.
CM Abdullah also expressed gratitude to the Central Government for its continued financial support, particularly the extension of the SASCI Scheme to Jammu & Kashmir. He stated that the Northern Zonal Council remains an effective platform to strengthen inter-state cooperation.
Reaffirming Jammu & Kashmir’s unwavering faith in democratic institutions, he assured that the UT stands fully committed to contributing to national growth and development.
