In view of the weather advisory issued by the Indian Meteorological Department regarding inclement weather from October 5, 2025, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Budgam has established a 24x7 Winter Control Room at the District Headquarter.
The control room aims to address any emergency situations arising during winters or harsh weather conditions. Residents of Budgam district have been advised to contact the District Disaster Control Room in case of any eventuality or emergency at the following numbers:
