🟣 Bahu Fort Police Busts Drug Network; Duo Arrested with 330 Grams of Heroin
Continuing its war against narcotics, Police Station Bahu Fort achieved a significant breakthrough by busting a heroin supply chain. Two accused were arrested with 330 grams of heroin (Chitta) and cash proceeds of crime.
During the investigation of FIR No. 295/2025 U/S 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act, Incharge Police Post Narwal arrested Vishal Kumar, son of Ram Singh, resident of Rajeev Nagar, Narwal Boot Polish Mohalla, Jammu, from near Wave Mall. A search led to the recovery of 275 grams of heroin and an electronic weighing machine from his possession.
Upon interrogation, Vishal Kumar disclosed that he sourced the contraband from Reena, wife of Late Bobby, resident of Rajeev Nagar, Narwal Boot Polish Mohalla, Jammu. Acting swiftly, the police raided her residence along with the Naib Tehsildar Bahu Fort and recovered 55 grams of heroin, another weighing machine, and ₹33,490 in cash.
Further investigation led to the arrest of three more women drug peddlers — Sheetal, Payal, and Kajal, all residents of Rajeev Nagar, Jammu. The police recovered 13 grams of heroin, two weighing machines, and ₹3,050 cash from them.
All five accused, including the four women, were arrested after completing legal formalities. The police are investigating further to trace the broader supply network.

🟣 R.S. Pura Police Arrests Three Drug Peddlers with 186 Grams of Heroin (Chitta)
In another major success, R.S. Pura Police Station arrested three notorious drug peddlers and seized 186 grams of heroin (Chitta) during an anti-narcotics operation in Chak Talab area.
The police team, led by PSI Iahtsham ul Haq under the supervision of SHO R.S. Pura Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar, SDPO R.S. Pura, and SP Headquarters Jammu, carried out the operation during routine patrolling.
The arrested individuals were identified as:
1. Inderjeet, son of Balwant Ram, resident of Gandhi Camp, Batala (Punjab), presently at Chak Talab, R.S. Pura.
2. Vishal Kumar, son of Charan Dass, resident of Sagarpur, Batala (Punjab), presently at Chak Talab, R.S. Pura.
3. Jagdish Raj, son of Mulkh Raj, resident of Chak Talab, R.S. Pura, District Jammu.
The police recovered approximately 186 grams of heroin from their possession. In this connection, a case FIR No. 203/2025 U/S 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station R.S. Pura.
All three accused have been taken into custody, and further investigations are underway to uncover their supply chain and linkages in the drug trade.
