JKUSTA Extends Greetings on Gandhi Jayanti, Pays Tribute to Gandhi and Shastri
Jammu, October 2:
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and the International Day of Non-Violence, the Jammu and Kashmir United School Teachers Association (JKUSTA) extended warm greetings to all teachers and students.

In a message, JKUSTA highlighted the timeless ideals of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, emphasizing that Gandhi’s path of peace and non-violence continues to guide society towards harmony and justice.

Reaffirming their commitment, JKUSTA said: “We will continue to walk on the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi. United as one fraternity, we shall persist in our struggle for our rights and never allow our voices to be silenced. Our unity is our strength, ensuring that no teacher has to face hardships without support.”

The Association urged all teachers to remain united, uphold the values of peace and non-violence, and continue working together for justice, dignity, and the betterment of society.



On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, Jammu and Kashmir United School Teachers Association (JKUSTA) President Pradeep Singh Jamwal extended heartfelt greetings to all.

He said that the day is not only a tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, but also a reminder of Shastri Ji’s simplicity and dedication towards the nation. Jamwal further highlighted the global significance of the day, as October 2 is also observed as the International Day of Non-Violence, reaffirming the importance of peace, harmony, and truth in today’s world.
