Jammu, October 12, 2025:
In a major action against habitual offenders and anti-social elements, the Pacca Danga Police Station has successfully executed a detention warrant under the Public Safety Act (PSA) against Shubham Gill @ Maya, son of Late Sh. Pawan Gill, resident of House No. 105, Dogra Hall, Jammu.
The warrant, issued by the District Magistrate Jammu, was implemented by a dedicated team of Police Station Pacca Danga headed by SHO Inspector Rakesh Mani under the supervision of SDPO City North and SP City North.
As per the legal procedure, the accused was medically examined at the Government Hospital before being lodged in District Jail Udhampur. The grounds of detention were read out and explained to the detenu in the language he understands, and the entire process was videographed and photographed in accordance with PSA guidelines.
This decisive action underscores the firm commitment of Jammu Police, especially Pacca Danga Police, to maintaining peace, law, and order in the region. The police have reaffirmed that strict legal measures will continue against all those indulging in activities detrimental to public safety and harmony.
