Srinagar, Oct 1: The file regarding the appointment of Nasir Alam Wani as Advisor to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has not been approved by the Competent Authority (LG) despite being circulated among various offices for the past 10 months.

Wani currently holds no official protocol status, government office, or accommodation, nor does he draw any salary from the government. According to the Chief Minister, he has been working “voluntarily” in the capacity of advisor.

Omar Abdullah made these remarks during Episode 39 of the Kashmir Podcast on Talkistan.
