USTA Holds Zonal Level Meeting at GB Grand Resort RS Pura, New Body Constituted
Jammu, September 21: The Jammu and Kashmir United School Teachers Association (USTA) today convened a significant zonal level meeting at GB Grand Resort, RS Pura under the leadership of Sh. Pardeep Singh Jamwal, President USTA.
The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from teachers and association members across various areas. Prominent attendees included Rajiv Kumar, Yonus Rahi, Sonia Jamwal, Shamsher Bajgotra, Farid Ahmed from Ramban, and Abdul Majid from Akhnoor, among others.
During the session, a new zonal body for RS Pura was constituted with the following office bearers:

President: Surjit Kumar

Secretary: Kuldeep Chaudhary

Senior Vice President: Sanjeev Kumar

Organizer: Vikrant Sharma

Cashier: Govind Kumar

Vice Presidents: Rashpal and Bag Ali


The meeting discussed several key issues concerning the teaching community, including:

1. Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) – regarding issue discussed.


2. Release of ATD of teachers in Jammu and Udhampur districts – demanding timely transfer orders.


3. ATD of Masters and Lecturers – urging the authorities to expedite the process.


Speaking on the occasion, USTA President Sh. Pardeep Singh Jamwal stressed the importance of unity among teachers and reaffirmed the association’s commitment to safeguarding the rights of the teaching fraternity. He also highlighted the need for the government to address the long-pending demands of teachers on priority.

The newly formed zonal committee pledged to work tirelessly for the welfare of teachers in the RS Pura zone and extend full cooperation to the central leadership of USTA in future endeavors.
