Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav has announced that he will donate his match fees from the Asia Cup 2025 to the Indian Armed Forces and the victims of the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

The star batsman, who played seven matches in the tournament, is estimated to contribute around ₹28 lakh through this gesture. Speaking about the decision, Yadav said he felt a deep sense of duty towards the soldiers who protect the nation and the families affected by the tragic incident in Jammu and Kashmir.

While media reports confirm his pledge to donate the match fees, there is no official confirmation regarding other earnings or prize money from the tournament being donated. Nonetheless, Yadav’s contribution has been widely praised as a heartfelt tribute to the armed forces and victims’ families.
