Samba, September 19, 2025: Samba Police successfully solved a theft case registered at Police Station Samba by arresting two accused and recovering the stolen property.
On September 16, 2025, Santosh Kumari, a resident of Kheri Mandi, Samba, lodged a complaint regarding the theft of barbed wire from her house premises during the intervening night of September 15/16, 2025. Acting swiftly on the complaint, Police Station Samba registered FIR No. 237/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS and initiated an investigation.
After sustained efforts, the police apprehended two accused persons identified as Rohit Sambyal, son of Late Yuvraj Singh of Kheri Mandi, Budwani Samba, and Rajat Billowria, son of Ramesh Singh Billowria of Budwani Samba. During questioning, both confessed to their involvement in the case.
Based on their disclosure, the stolen property was recovered. Further investigation is underway.
