LG Manoj Sinha Visits Udhampur, Inspects National Highway Restoration Works

Udhampur, Sept 9: In the wake of the recent heavy rains that caused widespread disruption and damage across Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Udhampur today to assess the situation.

During his visit, the LG inspected the ongoing restoration works on the National Highway, which had suffered extensive damage due to landslides and flooding. He interacted with officials and directed them to ensure speedy clearance of debris and restoration of traffic at the earliest possible time.

LG Sinha emphasized that the administration is committed to providing all necessary support for relief and rehabilitation in the affected areas. He also assured that adequate measures are being taken to prevent further inconvenience to the public and to strengthen infrastructure resilience against such natural calamities in the future.
