Lady Drug Peddler Nabbed by Jammu Police, 19 Grams Heroin-Like Substance Recovered
Jammu, Sept 16: Jammu Police, South Zone, achieved another success under Operation Sanjeevani with the arrest of a lady drug peddler by Police Station Bahu Fort. The police recovered 19 grams of heroin-like substance, cash amounting to ₹7,420, and an electronic weighing scale from her possession.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of SSP Jammu, and the direct guidance of SP City South, SDPO City East, and SHO PS Bahu Fort. During patrolling, a team from Police Post Narwal, led by the IC Police Post and assisted by other officials, apprehended the accused from Rajiv Nagar (Boot Polish Mohalla).

The accused has been identified as Pinki, wife of Vikas, resident of Rajiv Nagar, Narwal, District Jammu. A case under FIR No. 275/2025 has been registered at Police Station Bahu Fort under sections 8/21/22/27A of the NDPS Act, and the accused has been taken into custody for further investigation.

Jammu Police reiterated its commitment to eradicating the drug menace from society and urged the public to provide information on drug-related activities.
