Jammu, September 7: In a swift action, Jammu Police solved a scooty theft case registered at Police Station Domana and recovered the stolen vehicle.
On September 5, an FIR No. 191/2025 under Section 303(2) BNS was lodged regarding the theft of a scooty bearing registration number JK02AC 8848 from Pounichak near KK Resorts.
During the investigation, a police team led by Incharge Police Post Pounichak apprehended a suspect identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Ramesh Kumar, resident of Behrahj Lucknow, presently residing at Bhawani Nagar, Jammu. Based on his disclosure, the stolen scooty was recovered and seized.
The prompt action by Jammu Police has been widely appreciated by the general public, while further investigation in the case is underway.
