GANDERBAL, SEPTEMBER 29:
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today laid the foundation stones for six major sports infrastructure projects at Beehama, Ganderbal, marking a significant investment in the district’s sports ecosystem.
The projects include the upgradation of Beehama Stadium, Madri-Meherban Stadium, and playfields at Gund Rehman, Manigam, Wakura, and Batwina. These initiatives are aimed at nurturing local sports talent and promoting youth engagement in sports.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister also unveiled new sports equipment for youth. The event featured impressive demonstrations by athletes of Judo, Thang-Ta, and Yoga, reflecting Ganderbal’s vibrant sporting spirit.
