Budgam, September 23, 2025: Budgam Police recovered 4 kilograms of narcotic substance (Ganja) from a shop in village Watalpora, Beerwah, and arrested the accused involved in the case.
Acting on specific information, a police team from Police Station Beerwah, led by ASI Ghulam Hassan and accompanied by the Executive Magistrate, conducted a raid at the shop. During the search, contraband was seized from the possession of Saddam Yousuf, son of Mohammad Yousuf Mir, resident of Watalpora, Beerwah.
The accused has been arrested, and a case under FIR No. 132/2025, U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Beerwah.
Budgam Police have urged the public to cooperate in the fight against drugs and report any information related to drug peddling or criminal activities to the nearest police station.
