Budgam, September 19, 2025:
Budgam Police organized an awareness camp at Police Station Charar-e-Sharief under the nationwide “Seva Parv” initiative. The programme witnessed active participation from a large number of students representing various schools of the area.
During the camp, students were briefed about the functioning of a police station, daily responsibilities of police personnel, and the significance of police-public cooperation in maintaining peace and order. Officers of Budgam Police also interacted with the students, addressing their queries to enhance their understanding of policing, civic responsibilities, and individual rights.
The “Seva Parv” initiative aims to strengthen police-public relations while spreading awareness among the younger generation about the diverse roles and services of the police.
Reaffirming its commitment to community-oriented policing, Budgam Police assured that such awareness programmes will continue to be organized to promote mutual trust, cooperation, and civic responsibility among the youth.
