The Government of India has rolled out the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana with a massive financial outlay of ₹99,446 crore, aimed at strengthening India’s workforce and generating widespread employment opportunities.
The scheme is expected to create and support over 3.5 crore jobs, marking it as a transformational step towards empowering the workforce and fostering sustainable economic growth.
Officials said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to building a “Viksit Bharat” (Developed India) by ensuring robust employment avenues, skill development, and greater economic participation.
Hashtag campaigns such as #PradhanMantriViksitBharatRozgarYojana are being promoted to spread awareness about the program nationwide.
