Jammu, August 24, 2025:
The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the cancellation of the OMR-based written examination for the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in the Power Development Department, which was conducted on August 24, 2025.
According to the official notification, the exam was scheduled at 35 venues across Jammu and Srinagar districts from 11:00 AM. However, due to weather-related exigencies, the timings were revised to 12:00 Noon. While the exam was successfully conducted at 34 venues, it could not be held at one venue.
In light of this, the Board has decided to cancel the entire examination and conduct it afresh. The fresh date(s) for the rescheduled examination will be notified separately.
The notification was issued by Reyaz Ahmad Malik (JKAS), Controller of Examination, JKSSB, on August 24, 2025.
