CM Omar Abdullah Hands Over Appointment Orders Under SRO-43 at SKICC

Srinagar, August 19:

In a compassionate move to support the families of government employees who lost their lives while in service, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today handed over appointment orders under SRO-43 to several candidates during a function held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC).

While distributing the orders, the Chief Minister said that the government stands firmly with the affected families in their time of grief and will ensure every possible support to help them rebuild their lives. He emphasized that the initiative under SRO-43 is not merely a formality but a commitment to provide livelihood opportunities to the next of kin of the deceased employees.

Omar Abdullah further noted that the state administration is continuously working to streamline the process so that families do not face unnecessary delays in getting the relief and benefits they are entitled to.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and the government for extending timely assistance. Senior officers from the General Administration Department and other officials were also present on the occasion.
