Jammu, August 31, 2025:
In a major breakthrough, Bakshi Nagar Police have arrested absconder Tanish Mehra, son of Pawan Kumar, a resident of Talab Khatikan, Jammu, presently residing in Shakti Nagar.
Mehra was wanted in connection with FIR No. 148/2023 under Sections 307, 341, 147, 148, and 120-B of the IPC. He had been evading arrest since 2023.
Police said the successful arrest highlights their sustained efforts to bring absconders to justice and reinforces their commitment to maintaining law and order in the region.
