Jammu, August 20, 2025: In a major breakthrough, Nowabad Police, Jammu, arrested an absconder identified as Bharat Malhotra, son of Tilak Raj, resident of Nai Basti Jammu, who had been evading arrest for over three decades.
The accused was wanted in connection with FIR No. 382/92 under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Nowabad. He had been on the run for the last 32 years.
The arrest was made by a police team led by SHO Nowabad, Inspector Nishant Gupta. The accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court of Law, where legal proceedings have been initiated.
