Jammu Police Solve Theft Case, Recover Stolen Goods
Jammu, April 1, 2025: In a swift and efficient operation, the Police team of Police Post Canal Road has successfully solved a theft case and recovered stolen goods. The case was registered based on a complaint by Mrs. Runa Sadotra, a resident of Hari Nagar, Talab Tillo, who reported that between March 14 and March 16, 2025, unknown persons broke into her house and stole water taps and AC wires.

Following the complaint, FIR No. 36/2025 under sections 331(4)/305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered at Police Station Nowabad, and an investigation was launched. A special team, led by PSI Vikram Singh Manhas, Incharge of Police Post Canal Road, was formed under the supervision of SHO Nowabad, Inspector Deepak Pathania, DySP Headquarters Jammu, and overall supervision of SP City North.

Utilizing local intelligence and technical inputs, the police identified the accused as Sunil Kumar alias Bugu, son of Kuldeep Raj, resident of Trilokpur Camp, Gole Gujral, Jammu. The stolen items were successfully recovered.

This swift action underscores the Jammu Police’s dedication to maintaining law and order and delivering justice to victims. The investigation is ongoing, and further action will be taken as necessary.
