Samba Police Solves Theft Case, Arrests Accused and Recovers Stolen Cash
Samba, February 27: Samba Police successfully cracked a theft case registered at Police Station Ghagwal by arresting the accused and recovering stolen cash amounting to approximately ₹37,000.

As per reports, on February 25, 2025, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Rajpura by Sanjeev Kumar, son of Bisakhi Ram, resident of Dhulma Chak, Tehsil Rajpura, District Samba. He reported the theft of cash from Kul Devta Sthan Baba Bali Karan, Dhulma Chak, by an unidentified individual.

Acting swiftly on the complaint, FIR No. 34/2025 U/S 305, 331(1) BNS was registered at Police Station Ghagwal, and an investigation was launched. A dedicated police team, led by the Incharge of Police Post Rajpura, conducted relentless efforts and meticulous investigation, leading to the successful arrest of the accused, identified as Surinder Kumar, son of Ram Pal, resident of Ramloo, Tehsil Ramgarh, District Samba.

Upon sustained interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime, and the stolen cash was recovered from his possession. Further investigation into the case is ongoing.
