Samba, March 15, 2025: Continuing its crackdown on absconders and criminals, Samba Police successfully apprehended two fugitives who had been evading arrest since 2014.
A police team from Police Station Samba, led by SHO PS Samba under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Samba and overall guidance of SSP Samba, carried out the operation after sustained efforts. The arrested individuals, identified as Maskeen Ali, son of Jamat Ali, and Kalam Din, son of Alam Din, both residents of Rangoora, Jammu, were wanted in connection with FIR No. 132/2014 under Section 188 RPC registered at PS Samba for their involvement in bovine smuggling.
The duo had been on the run since committing the crime in 2014. Following their arrest, they were presented before the court, and the arrest warrants issued against them under Section 512 CrPC were duly executed.
Samba Police reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring that criminals are brought to justice.
