Jammu, 17.30.2025, The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today approved budget grants for several key departments after a daylong detailed discussion in the House.

The approved grants include ₹2,796.07 lakh for the Information Technology department, ₹70,312.76 lakh for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, ₹4,048.90 lakh for ARI Trainings, Labour, Stationery, and Printing, ₹12,617.03 lakh for Transport, ₹62,154.91 lakh for Youth Services and Sports, and ₹17,279.10 lakh for Science and Technology.

The passage of these grants is expected to strengthen the functioning of these departments and enhance service delivery across the Union Territory.
