Jammu & Kashmir, March 2025 – The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a significant increase in the capital expenditure for the education sector in its budget for the financial year 2025-26. A total allocation of ₹1,388.97 crore has been made for the School and Higher Education sectors, marking a notable increase of ₹242.75 crore over the revised budget for 2024-25.
