Srinagar, March 24: The Grand Enrolment Drive 2025, initiated by the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), has successfully concluded with an impressive increase in student enrolments across the Kashmir Division. The collaborative efforts of education functionaries at every level have resulted in more than 61,000 new enrolments, marking a significant achievement for the region’s educational sector.
Among the districts, Ganderbal recorded the highest percentage increase in new enrolments, while Kupwara contributed the highest number of new enrolments. In terms of school-wise performance, Zone Srinagar led with the highest average new enrolments per school, whereas Cluster GHSS Kothibagh secured the highest new enrolments per school. Additionally, GHSS Amirakadal stood out with the highest number of individual new enrolments.
This massive enrolment drive underscores the commitment of DSEK to strengthening the education system by ensuring increased student participation and accessibility to quality education.
