Poonch, March 3: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, chaired a meeting today to review the performance of banks under the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for the financial year 2024-25.
The meeting assessed the progress of various financial institutions in achieving their credit targets, with a focus on priority sectors like agriculture, small-scale industries, and self-employment initiatives. DC Kundal emphasized the need for banks to enhance credit flow to uplift local businesses and farmers.
Bank officials presented their performance reports and discussed challenges in loan disbursement. The DC directed concerned officials to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and financial assistance programs to boost economic growth in the district.
