Udhampur, February 9: In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, Udhampur Police successfully attached properties worth ₹1.5 crore linked to notorious drug peddlers Nadeem Sambyal of Chenani and Mohd. Hafiz of Jhullas, Poonch. These assets were allegedly acquired through the illegal trade of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances.
Recognizing the dedication and efforts of the officers involved in this operation, SSP Udhampur, Sh. Amod Ashok Nagpure (IPS), felicitated the police team with cash rewards and commendation certificates. The team included SDPO Chenani Sheikh Tahir Amin, SHO Chenani Inspector Jaswinder Singh, PSI Ravinder, and IC PP Tikri PSI Manveer Singh. Their relentless efforts in dismantling the drug network and seizing illegally earned assets were highly appreciated.
