Doda, February 7, 2025: The District Administration of Doda has issued a circular emphasizing the urgent registration of employees under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. The circular, released by District Development Commissioner Harvinder Singh, IAS, highlights the slow progress in employee registrations despite multiple instructions.
To accelerate the process, a strict timeline has been set for different levels of government employees:
District-level officers and officials (including Mini Secretariat departments) must register within 10 days.
Sub-Division, Tehsil, and Block-level officers and officials must also complete their registration within 10 days.
Field staff of all departments must register within 15 days.
Front-line workers, including VLWs, GRS, Anganwadi workers, ASHA workers, NYC, Chowkidars, and daily wage workers of Jal Shakti and JPDCL, have a 20-day deadline for registration.
Furthermore, the circular mandates that all registered employees must install rooftop solar panels at designated locations by March 31, 2025.
The directive urges officers at various administrative levels to ensure compliance within the specified timeframe. The administration aims to enhance participation in the scheme, promoting renewable energy adoption across the district.
