Poonch, Feb 10: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, today visited the Shiv Khori Mandir to review the arrangements for the upcoming Maha Shivratri festival, scheduled for February 26, 2025.
During the visit, the DC assessed various facilities, including security, sanitation, and crowd management, to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for devotees. He directed officials to make adequate preparations for accommodation, medical assistance, and transportation to handle the expected influx of pilgrims.
Emphasizing the significance of the festival, DC Kundal urged all concerned departments to work in coordination for seamless execution of the event. He also interacted with temple authorities and local stakeholders to address any concerns related to the arrangements.
