Jammu, January 24: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday organized a grand welcome ceremony at its party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to honor Sh. Sat Sharma CA, the newly elected president of the BJP Jammu & Kashmir unit. Party members, senior leaders, and supporters gathered in large numbers to extend their congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed president.
The event commenced with a traditional welcome, including the presentation of garlands and bouquets to Sh. Sat Sharma. Senior BJP leaders, including former ministers, MLAs, and party functionaries, expressed their enthusiasm and commitment to working under his dynamic leadership.
In his address, Sh. Sat Sharma CA ji thanked the party leadership and the workers for their unwavering support and trust in him. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the party’s grassroots network and ensuring BJP’s victory in upcoming elections in the Union Territory. He also highlighted the party’s agenda of development and progress for the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
He further stated, “BJP’s vision for Jammu & Kashmir is rooted in inclusive development, empowerment of the youth, and ensuring peace and prosperity in the region. Together, we will work tirelessly to make this vision a reality.”
Prominent BJP leaders who addressed the gathering included Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, J&K BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul, and several district presidents and party activists. They expressed confidence that Sh. Sat Sharma’s leadership would take the party to greater heights in Jammu & Kashmir.
The programme concluded with a pledge by all party members to work collectively to strengthen the BJP's position across the Union Territory and to serve the people with dedication.
