Jammu, January 25: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the 15th National Voters' Day celebration in Jammu today, organized to honor the contribution of voters and raise awareness about the importance of active participation in democracy. The event, which was marked by various activities promoting democratic values, saw the participation of officials, young voters, and representatives from civil society.
On the occasion, Lt Governor Manoj Sinha extended his congratulations to the Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir and his dedicated team for their outstanding performance. Jammu and Kashmir received the prestigious Best Performing State/UT Award from the Election Commission of India, a testament to the robust electoral process in the region.

Addressing the gathering, Lt Governor Sinha highlighted the historic voter turnout in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
