Notorious Lady Drug Peddler Arrested Following Financial Investigation
Jammu, 20 January 2025: In a major breakthrough under Operation Sanjeevani, Jammu and Kashmir Police has successfully arrested a notorious female drug peddler in Bishnah. The accused has been identified as:

Kirna Kumari, wife of Joginder Kumar, resident of Kothey Chorli, Bishnah, and sister of Sunny Sahansi.


The arrest is a significant development in the ongoing investigation of FIR No. 203/2024, registered under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the Arms Act at Police Station Bishnah, Jammu. The apprehension of the accused followed a meticulous financial investigation and the unearthing of backward linkages in the case.

Details of the Investigation

The arrested individual was a part of a well-organized drug network responsible for maintaining a continuous supply and distribution chain in the region. The network's activities posed a serious threat to the safety and well-being of the local population.
