J&K Police Kathua Organizes Thana Diwas Across All Police Stations in District Kathua
Kathua, January 23, 2025:
Jammu and Kashmir Police in Kathua district successfully organized Thana Diwas today, January 23, 2025, at all police stations in the district. The event was conducted under the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua to address public grievances and ensure efficient police services for the community.
According to an official statement released by Kathua Police, Thana Diwas was held as per a pre-decided schedule across Police Stations, including Lakhanpur, Kathua, Hiranagar, Bani, Basohli, and Malhar, under the supervision of their respective supervisory officers.

The initiative witnessed the participation of a large number of civilians, complainants, and members of the public. Various grievances and complaints were presented during the event. The police provided a patient hearing to all participants and resolved many issues on the spot. Additionally, several essential police services were extended to individuals in need, ensuring prompt assistance.
