Rajouri, January 24, 2025: The full dress rehearsal for the 74th Republic Day celebrations was successfully conducted at the District Police Line in Rajouri today. The event served as a prelude to the grand celebrations scheduled for January 26, showcasing meticulous preparation, discipline, and enthusiasm.

The rehearsal witnessed active participation from the district administration, police, paramilitary forces, NCC cadets, school students, and various cultural groups. It began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by a ceremonial parade comprising contingents of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, Home Guards, NCC, and school children. The parade was led by senior police officials, demonstrating impeccable coordination and synchronization.

Cultural programs highlighting the rich heritage and diversity of India were also presented. Students from local schools performed patriotic songs, dances, and skits, adding vibrancy and a sense of national pride to the event. Special performances depicting the unity in diversity of India drew widespread appreciation from the attendees.

Senior officials, including Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and Senior Superintendent of Police, were present to oversee the arrangements and ensure that all preparations were in place for the Republic Day celebrations. Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner commended the efforts of all participants and emphasized the importance of celebrating the day with dignity and patriotic fervor.
