Bandipora, Dec 19: In line with the nationwide initiative "Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore," the District Administration Bandipora on thursday launched a week-long campaign to redress public grievances and enhance service delivery at the grassroot level.
Special grievance redressal camps were organized across the district, bringing government services and grievance mechanisms directly to the people aimed to foster a culture of good governance.
The mega event of the campaign was held at Markundal, Sumbal, where Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Abdul Gani Bhat along with Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri listened to the issues of the public and assured prompt redressal of genuine public grievances.
At Aloosa, special grievance redressal camp was presided over by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Rafi Ahmad Salati and Block Development Officer (BDO) Owais Ahmad Malik.
During the camp, the officers interacted with the public, listened to their concerns, and assured them of timely resolutions. Various issues related to healthcare, sanitation, and developmental works were discussed, with the officers emphasizing the administration's commitment to delivering services at the grassroot level.
Similarly, series of grievance redressal camps were organized at various locations across District including Sub-Division Gurez, where nodal officers designated by the District Administration listened to public issues and assured time bound resolution, ensuring doorstep delivery of governance.
The camps organised at various locations across the district also highlighted welfare schemes and public services, aligning with the campaign's objective of promoting good governance and ensuring efficient service delivery.
