Minister Rana emphasized the need for JPDCL to widely publicize power curtailment schedules in advance to keep the public informed and minimize inconvenience. He urged the corporation to adopt a systematic approach to reduce unscheduled power cuts, which often lead to significant challenges during winter.

Key Directives from the Minister:

1. Wide Publicity of Curtailment Schedules: JPDCL was instructed to prepare and disseminate detailed curtailment schedules well before their implementation, ensuring transparency and preparedness among the public.

2. Minimization of Unscheduled Power Cuts: The Minister stressed the importance of maintaining a reliable power supply, particularly in remote and high-altitude areas where disruptions can severely impact daily life.

3. Transformer Bank and Repair Workshop: Recognizing the frequent breakdown of transformers in the Pir Panjal Region, Minister Rana directed the establishment of a Transformer Bank to ensure the availability of replacements during emergencies.
