District Allocation to Ministers Announced by J&K Government
Jammu, December 9, 2024: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through the General Administration Department (GAD), has issued Government Order No. 2057-JK(GAD) of 2024, detailing the allocation of districts to various Hon’ble Ministers. This move aims to enhance coordination, ensure effective implementation of developmental programs, improve monitoring of public services, and address district-specific issues.

According to the order dated December 9, 2024, the districts have been allocated as follows:

1. Mr. Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister:

Shopian



2. Ms. Sakeena Masood (Itoo), Hon’ble Minister for Health & Medical Education, School Education, Higher Education, and Social Welfare:

Kupwara

Srinagar

Kathua

Samba



3. Mr. Javed Ahmed Rana, Hon’ble Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs:

Doda

Rajouri

Pulwama

Baramulla



4. Mr. Javid Ahmad Dar, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives, and Election:

5. Mr. Satish Sharma, Hon’ble Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, and ARI & Trainings:
