DC Bandipora reviews functioning of Health Sector. 
Emphasises improving overall service delivery to meet the growing needs of patients effectively. 
Bandipora Dec 14: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Manzoor Ahmad Qadri today reviewed the functioning of the Health department and progress of different schemes and projects implemented by Health Department in a meeting held at mini Secretariate Bandipora.

CMO Bandipora Dr.Rafi Ahmad Salati briefed the meeting regarding various indicators, schemes and projects of Health Department.

The Deputy Commissioner took detailed review of various ongoing works including construction of Health Sub centres at kuhama, laharwalpora, Aloosa, sonerwani, Athwatoo, Gamroo, Zalpora Shilvat, construction of BMO office at Bandipora besides repair and renovation of Sumbal and Hajin Hospital under District CAPEX.

During the meeting threadbare discussions were held to evaluate the functioning of the health sector and developing strategic plans for its enhancement besides discussed existing challenges, identifying key areas for improvement, and formulate actionable solutions to elevate the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of healthcare services.

The meeting also discussed critical issues within the health sector, including state of healthcare infrastructure, optimization of staff deployment, sufficient medical equipment, and the efficiency of service delivery. 

The DC, on the occasion directed the concerned to identify gaps in infrastructure and explore ways to enhance capacity, ensure optimal resource allocation, ensuring the availability of essential medical equipment, and improving overall service delivery to meet the growing needs of patients effectively.

M.A Qadri emphasized the importance of devising practical solutions to strengthen the sector's foundations and improve patient care outcomes.

The meeting was attended by CPO Bandipora Mohammad Maqbool; Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rafi Ahmad Salathi; MS District Hospital, BMO Bandipora besides other concerned officials.
