High-Level Meeting of Women’s Wing Srinagar Held to Finalize Arrangements for Birth Anniversary of Sher-e-Kashmir
Srinagar, 28.11.2024 – A high-level meeting of the Women’s Wing Srinagar was conducted today at the party headquarters, presided over by Er. Sabiya Qadri. The primary agenda of the meeting was to finalize the arrangements for the upcoming birth anniversary celebration of Sher-e-Kashmir, Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, which will be observed at his graveyard in Naseem Bagh Hazratbal.

The meeting, attended by key party leaders, included speeches by Hon'ble MLA Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi, District President Peer Afaaq Ahmed, and Provincial Secretary Kashmir, Ahsha Jameel. The leaders highlighted the significance of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah’s legacy, emphasizing his pivotal role in shaping the socio-political landscape of Jammu and Kashmir.

Hon'ble MLA Ahsan Pardesi noted that Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah’s vision and contributions continue to resonate with the people of the region. “His leadership and sacrifices laid the foundation for the progress and empowerment of the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” Pardesi said, stressing the importance of honoring his memory.

District President Peer Afaaq Ahmed spoke about the lasting impact of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah's efforts in fostering peace, unity, and development in the region. He called for collective efforts to carry forward the values instilled by the late leader.
