In an effort to improve public engagement and expedite the development process, District Commissioner (DC) of Poonch, Mr. Yasin M. Choudhary, organized a comprehensive Public Outreach Program in Block Mandi. This initiative aimed to bring the administration closer to the public by addressing pressing concerns directly and ensuring smoother implementation of various development schemes.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from local residents, panchayat representatives, and stakeholders who had the opportunity to voice their grievances and provide feedback on ongoing projects. The DC, accompanied by a team of senior district officials, took note of issues raised by the community, including matters related to road connectivity, water supply, healthcare facilities, and educational infrastructure.
During the program, Mr. Choudhary assured attendees that the administration is committed to addressing their concerns with urgency. He highlighted several ongoing and upcoming projects in the region, such as the construction of rural roads, upgradation of healthcare units, and initiatives for youth employment. Special emphasis was laid on the "Back to Village" program and other government schemes tailored to boost rural development.
Mr. Choudhary also emphasized the administration's dedication to transparency and accountability in executing projects, urging officials to ensure the timely completion of all development initiatives. He further encouraged citizens to actively participate in the developmental process by providing constructive feedback and remaining vigilant about the progress of ongoing schemes.
The outreach program concluded with the DC directing concerned officials to resolve any administrative delays and address public grievances at the earliest. This effort reflects the administration’s proactive approach in Poonch to enhance public service delivery and foster sustainable development across the region.
