"President Droupadi Murmu Holds Delegation-Level Talks with Malawian President; MoUs Signed in Culture, Youth, Sports, and Pharmaceutical Cooperation"

President Droupadi Murmu met with the President of Malawi, Lazarus Chakwera, yesterday at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Both leaders led delegation-level talks, where key areas of cooperation were discussed, strengthening the bilateral ties between India and Malawi.

During the discussions, the two leaders explored opportunities in various sectors, including art and culture, youth programs, sports, and pharmaceuticals. As a significant outcome of these talks, both countries signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), focusing on deepening their partnership in these areas.

The MoUs aim to promote collaboration in the development of cultural exchanges, encourage youth engagement through various programs, foster cooperation in sports, and boost cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, which holds immense potential for both nations. President Murmu and President Chakwera witnessed the signing of these MoUs, marking a new chapter in India-Malawi relations.

This visit underlines India's commitment to building strong ties with African nations and enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors for mutual benefit.
