Jammu, [30.10.2024]: Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), held a significant meeting today in Jammu with a range of delegations representing various sectors of society. The Katra Development Association, representing the interests of the important pilgrimage town, voiced concerns about the need for improved infrastructure to support tourism and accommodate the influx of pilgrims to the famous Vaishno Devi Shrine. They highlighted the economic potential of Katra and called for increased government investment in roads, sanitation, and other public amenities.
