Samba, September 5: Former Sarpanch of Samba, Ravinder Singh Sambyal alias Lovelu, who is contesting as an independent candidate from Samba, formally filed his nomination papers today. He submitted his nomination for the Samba (70) Assembly constituency in the presence of Returning Officer Kusum Chib.
Ravinder Singh Sambyal, who previously served as the Sarpanch of Samba, stated that he is contesting the election to ensure the development of the region and protect the interests of the people. After filing his nomination, he said, "My goal is to ensure the all-around development of the Samba region and eliminate corruption. I will go to the Assembly as the voice of the people and fight for their rights."
The nomination process was completed under the supervision of Returning Officer Kusum Chib, following all legal procedures. Several of Sambyal's supporters were present during the filing, encouraging him as he entered the election race. Supporters raised slogans in his favor and pledged to ensure his victory with a significant margin.
