Kishtwar,24-08-2024: A specialized training program for Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates of all the three Assembly Constituencies Viz 48-Inderwal, 49-Kishtwar and 50-Nagseni Paddar was today held at Conference hall DC Office Complex Kishtwar in preparation for the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024 under the overall supervision of District Election Officer Kishtwar Sh Rajesh Kumar Shavan-JKAS.
The training, conducted under the supervision of Pawan Kotwal JKAS, Returning Officer for 49-Kishtwar Assembly Constituency, was conducted to equip magistrates with the essential knowledge and skills required to ensure the smooth and effective conduct of the elections.
Nodal Officer trainings, Riyaz Ahmed Butt led the sessions, focusing on key topics such as election management, roles and responsibilities of Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates, law and order maintenance, and the implementation of election guidelines. The participants were trained in the logistical and procedural aspects critical to the election process, ensuring that they are well-prepared for any challenges during the polling period.
Returning Officer Pawan Kotwal JKAS 49-Kishtwar AC emphasized the need for close coordination and thorough preparation to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. He called upon the magistrates to exercise their duties diligently, ensuring that the election process runs smoothly without any disruptions.
The training program concluded with an interactive session, allowing the magistrates to discuss potential challenges and clarify doubts regarding election procedures with the master trainers. This training marks a crucial step in the district’s preparations for the upcoming Assembly Elections, ensuring that all officials are ready to fulfill their roles efficiently.
