RJD MP Manoj Jha recently launched a scathing attack on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in the Rajya Sabha. He leveled serious allegations against the National Testing Agency (NTA), suggesting that it should be "thrown into the Arabian Sea or the Bay of Bengal."
Manoj Jha's Speech :- Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Manoj Jha said, "The NEET exam has shattered the dreams of millions of students across the country. The NTA, which conducts this exam, is riddled with irregularities and controversies. The agency is playing with the future of students."
Students' Issues :- Highlighting the problems faced by students, Manoj Jha pointed out the lack of transparency and fairness in the NEET exam. He mentioned the chaos at exam centers, paper leaks, and several other issues that have caused significant difficulties for students. He emphasized that the exam has become a major obstacle for students from poor and rural backgrounds.
Government's Responsibility:- He appealed to the government to take this matter seriously and to reform the NEET exam system. Jha said, "The government should urgently address this issue and hold the NTA accountable. If the NTA cannot be improved, it should be disbanded, and a new, more transparent, and fair exam system should be established in its place."
Manoj Jha's speech received support from other opposition leaders. Many leaders echoed that there is deep resentment among students regarding the NEET exam and that the government should take immediate action on this matter.
Manoj Jha's speech in the Rajya Sabha on the NEET exam raises an important issue affecting the future of millions of students. The government needs to consider this seriously and find solutions to the problems faced by the students.
