DM visit at Police Line - Reviews Preparedness for Logistics
Kishtwar,28-08-2024: In order to assess the preparedness of the police in view of the present scenario, the District Magistrate Kishtwar, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Shavan paid his maidan visit to District Police Line.
Pertinent to mention that Mr. Shavan has taken over the charge of district recently, before couple of days.
The District Magistrate was formally received by District SSP Sh. Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, Dy SP DAR Sajjad Khan, senior officers of CAPF camping in the Lines and other concerned officers of Police.
A threadbare discussion about the aspects of functioning of line was made and all issues related to security and logistics were discussed.
The officers put forth their views and also shared their concerns related to HR management.
The DM was also made round of the campus and assessed the availability of facilities. He immediately ordered repair of the toilets through CAPF, enabling forces to stay smoothly in the campus and sanctioned requisite amount.
The DM assured full support to concerned officers in discharge of their challenging duties & maintenance of proper law & order by having constant reviews.
Later, the DM & SSP also inspected two other CAPF camps & listened to the grievances of Jawans & interacted with them. The DM also assessed the accommodation facilities of the CAPF.
