"DEO Kishtwar Reviews Election Preparedness Amid Upcoming J&K Legislative Assembly Elections 2024"

Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO) Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan (JKAS), chaired an important meeting to review the district's election preparations in view of the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections in 2024. The focus was on ensuring the readiness of the District Election Authority following the announcement of the Model Code of Conduct across the Union Territory.

Several senior officers and nodal officers attended the meeting, including Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kishtwar Ghulam Rasool (JKAS), ADC Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal (JKAS), Deputy District Election Officer and ACR Kishtwar Idrees Lone (JKAS), PO ICDS Dr. Rishi Sharma, SDM Paddar Amit Kumar Sharma, and DIO Kishtwar Shafkat Keen.

Following the meeting, the DEO and concerned officers inspected the control rooms and EVM strong rooms and reviewed various logistical arrangements.
