Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Manoj Pande have paid their deep respects to the Indian soldiers who were martyred in a recent terrorist attack in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. Several brave soldiers of the Indian Army attained martyrdom in this encounter.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, paying tribute to the sacrifice of the martyred soldiers, said that their supreme sacrifice for the security and integrity of the nation will always be remembered. He stated, "The country will never forget the courage and sacrifice of these brave sons. Our thoughts are with the families of the martyrs, and we stand with them in this time of grief."
Army Chief General Manoj Pande also paid tribute to the martyred soldiers, stating that these brave soldiers laid down their lives for the protection of the motherland. He said, "The Army is proud of the sacrifice of these soldiers, and their martyrdom will always be remembered. We will continue our fight against terrorism with even greater determination."
In this encounter, the Indian Army and security forces carried out a significant operation against the terrorists, in which several terrorists were killed. However, some brave soldiers also lost their lives in this struggle, and tribute ceremonies are being held across the country in their memory.
The Ministry of Defence has also expressed deep condolences over this incident and assured all necessary support to the families of the martyred soldiers. The entire nation is in mourning over this event, and people are offering prayers in memory of the martyrs.
