UT Jammu and Kashmir Admin Focuses on Inclusive Urban Development: LG Sinha

Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, recently stated that the Union Territory administration is focusing on inclusive urban development. He mentioned that the development of urban infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir is being prioritized, benefiting people from all communities.

LG Sinha said that the government has initiated various schemes and projects aimed at improving the living standards of people residing in urban areas. These projects include the Smart City Mission, housing schemes, improvement of road and transportation infrastructure, expansion of water supply, and sanitation services.

He emphasized that the government is committed to making urban development inclusive so that people from all sections of society can benefit from these projects. He also mentioned that the government has prepared a comprehensive plan that includes all major urban areas. Under this plan, projects are being designed and implemented considering the needs of different communities.

LG Sinha highlighted that the administration has also prioritized public participation to successfully implement urban development projects. He stressed that the government's goal is to provide better basic facilities to all people living in urban areas and give them a chance to live a better life.

He stated that these efforts would not only improve urban infrastructure but also create employment opportunities and strengthen the economy of Jammu and Kashmir. LG Sinha appealed to the public to actively participate in these development plans and support the government's efforts.
